Financial Times rankings: French business schools consolidate their position in 2021
French business schools have consolidated their position in the 2021 edition of the Financial Times (FT) rankings. The 17th edition of this renowned list published by the British daily business newspaper includes 100 schools, 21 of which are French, as in the previous year.
The FT published its annual global rankings of masters in management (MiM) degrees on September 12, 2021. And the French have fared well, despite some changes at the top of the rankings.
The HEC Grande Ecole program remained second after Swiss champion the University of St Gallen, while ESSEC dropped from third to sixth, and ESCP moved down one place. EDHEC, however, performed very well to reach the Top 10, finishing in ninth position, up seven places on last year.
“In this period of uncertainty over employment prospects for undergraduates, many grandes écoles have reported a sharp increase in demand for the masters in management,” said the FT editorial staff, especially online learning.
