Minister Franck Riester visits Alsace and presents the “Choose France” Prize to the Dräger company
Franck Riester, Minister Delegate in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, traveled to Alsace (Grand Est region) on Friday, March 26 for a visit regarding the attractiveness of France’s regions and the contribution of German investments to the French economy. He was accompanied by Hans-Dieter Lucas, the German Ambassador to France.
During the visit to the Dräger factory in Obernai, the Minister presented the “Special Covid Choose France” Prize to the German company for its investment in a production facility for masks.
The Minister and the Ambassador also participated in the conference-debate organized by Business France and the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry to mark the release of the Annual Report on Foreign investment in France and, more specifically, German investment in France.
This event, which was supported by the Baker McKenzie law firm and focused on German investments in France, also welcomed Christophe Lecourtier, CEO of Business France; Guy Maugis, President of the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Christelle Garier- Reboul, President of B. Braun in France; Markus Hempel, Director of German Trade and Invest (GTAI) in France, and Yves Le Gouguec, Managing Director of Dräger France.
