The attractiveness of the French cycling sector presented at Eurobike 2022, with prospects for French exporting businesses for the June 2023 edition.
On July 15 and 16, 2022, Marie-Cécile Tardieu, Business France’s Chief Operating Officer and Olivier Pradet, Assistant Director of Business France’s Export Division, both in Paris, accompanied by Elias Rock, Head of the Investment Division at the Business France Düsseldorf office (Germany), presented the advantages of the French cycling sector at Eurobike (Frankfurt, Germany) in partnership with the Union Sport & Cycle, Apic, the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Pays de la Loire regions, and benchmark companies, such as Manufacture Française du Cycle (MFC).
The round table was followed by meetings with potential investors identified by the Asian offices and with exhibiting French businesses. A bilateral meeting with the Taiwan Cyclist Federation saw them express interest in developing in Europe and joint collaborative actions in the coming months, with the Taipei Cycle Show and the Pro-Days event in Paris.This mission identified ways to best prepare the French pavilion, which will be put together by Business France’s Export Division, for Eurobike 2023. Many businesses have shown interest in participating, confirming the undeniable potential of the cycling sector, both in terms of raising the international profile of French businesses and attracting foreign investors.
