The long-awaited rankings compiled using alumni data have just been released, and this year French institutions have come out on top, with three French business schools featuring among the top 10 in Europe.

The rankings are largely based on data from graduates surveyed three years after completing their degree, with the aim being to measure their employability, salary, international mobility during and after the course, career development and overall satisfaction with the program undertaken and the position that they currently hold. A faculty’s performance strengths, its international outreach and the diversity of its students, as well as the percentage of female board members, are also analysis criteria.

First place among the French contenders is HEC Paris, which, like last year, is ranked second in the overall rankings. Next is Essec Business School, which is ranked third in the world, a stable result compared with 2019. Lastly, ESCP Business School has dropped one place from last year and is sixth in the overall rankings.
