Call for projects for sustainable tourism in Grand Est

The Grand Est Region is launching a call for proposals for sustainable tourism which aims to accompany and financially support large-scale, innovative tourism projects led by private operators in the region.

The Region is looking for accommodation or leisure infrastructure projects that contribute to the development of its tourism economy. The projects must be environmentally friendly and contribute to sustainable development and the fight against climate change.

Projects will be selected in two phases: an initial phase to receive a summary of the proposed projects and evaluate their alignment with the Region’s objectives and expectations and a second phase to receive detailed proposals from the operators selected at the end of the first phase.

As for regional funding, the contribution of the Region will be adjusted according to the value of the project. Between the two rounds, project leaders may receive engineering support from the Banque des Territoires, CDC Biodiversité and Grand E-nov+, the Region’s innovation and international prospecting agency.

The submission deadline for proposals for the first round is September 30, 2022 (midnight).
