“With this second industrial site, Dickson-Constant is anchoring its presence in Hauts-de-France, continuing the region’s tradition and history in textiles. We are delighted to welcome this modern, state-of-the-art industry that will create jobs for the people in our region.” Xavier Bertrand, President, Hauts-de-France Region.

The 10 hectare plot of land in Hordain already has a 15,600m2 industrial building on it. Rehabilitation work will start in January 2021.

In the long term, it will stretch over 28,000 m², with the option to extend.

The HQE textile factory will complement the Wasquehal plant, with agile organisation and specialised equipment to produce textiles for both interior and exterior furnishings.

A 12,500 m² latest-generation warehouse will be built in phase two. Being very high, it will allow storage of both raw materials and the whole finished product range.

Work is scheduled to be completed in 2022.

This second site will create a hundred jobs in the Hauts-de-France region.
