This event, which brought together 420 online participants, was led by Jacqueline Gourault, Minister for Regional Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities, Franck Riester, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, with responsibility for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, with responsibility for Industry, Christophe Lecourtier, CEO of Business France, Pascal Cagni, Chairman of Business France, and Marie Cécile Tardieu, COO (Investment Division) of Business France, at the premises of the Japanese business Sakata, based in Angers (Pays de la Loire region).

The success stories of several CEOs of French subsidiaries (Sakata, Wilo, Chesi, Tetrabrik, etc.) were aired during this day dedicated to the attractiveness of regions.

This sequence made it possible to present the France 2020 review of foreign investments: the Kantar survey on the perception of attractiveness by foreign businesses present in France.

It also saw the deployment of public partners for attractiveness (in particular the State, regional authorities, regional development agencies and Business France) to support international investors’ projects with greater agility through the launch of Team France Invest.

A letter of intent was also signed on this occasion between Business France and the National Agency for the Cohesion of Regions (ANCT) to support the rise of the regions in terms of international attractiveness through a strengthened service offer from the agency (re-invest, ready-to-use sites, training, studies and advice).
